Great Give 2026

NBLCT is excited to participate in The Great Give on May 6-7.

This 36 hour, online, community-wide giving event was created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven to raise visibility and resources for nonprofits serving Greater New Haven.

With your help in the last year, we installed an ADA-compliant parking lot at our Beech Street Demonstration Forest, created a series of trails on the property, and built a beautiful, welcoming, timber-frame kiosk.

While we have accomplished a lot there is still vital work to be done such as completing an ADA-accessible trail, and continuing work to clear invasive plants, to free up younger trees for unencumbered growth. Our goal is to make this property a wonderful place to learn about woodlands and nature.

At Pomps Lane Woodlands, we will be creating trails, clearing invasive plants and freeing up younger trees to restore the health of the woodlands.

Your support during The Great Give ensures that Beech Street Demonstration Forest and Pomps Lane Woodland remain vibrant, accessible, and healthy for years to come.
